I've been making music for as long as I can remember. Guitar and piano have come with me through every chapter of my life, and more recently I've started writing my own songs.

I believe music is one of the few things that can turn a room full of strangers into something closer to a community. That's why I love playing intimate spaces like coffee shops, restaurants, and wineries, where people can actually hear the song and each other.

My sets blend original songs with familiar covers from artists like Tom Petty, Brandi Carlisle and The Cranberries, on acoustic guitar and piano. The goal is simple: music that fits the room, sets the mood, and gives people a reason to stay a little longer.

Off stage, I live on a farm in SE Minnesota, with my husband and two kids. I've spent my career as a leader in healthcare, and I've never believed you have to choose between a demanding career and a creative life. That's the idea behind The Creative Practice, the podcast I co-host with Lindsey Gregerson, where we talk with corporate leaders about the creative work that keeps them grounded. I also serve on the board of the Minnesota Honors Choir, helping young singers discover the same joy music has given me.
